My life isn't the same anymore and that is more then okay!

As I am sitting here on a Saturday night watching my son lay in his bed asleep on his baby monitor I can't help but to think how much my life has changed in the past year! I no longer spend every Saturday night out with my friends, or staying up till 2:00 in the morning. Instead I have a dance party in my living room with my son and my husband at 7:00 p.m, and you know what I like these Saturday nights better!

I remember when my nights began at 11:00 p.m and now they end at 9:00 p.m., and you know what thats okay because my days are filled with more love and joy then I could ever imagine! I get to watch this beautiful child of mine grow and learn and become his own little person! My home is filled with giggles and laughter and an extreme amount of love and there is nothing in this world I want more!

Yes there are days that I miss my old Saturday nights but it's only for a spilt second because a little smiling face walks up to me and reminds me that what I have now is better! I am on this new journey called motherhood and it is by far the best journey I have ever been on! My life may be way different now but it is also way better! My Saturday nights might end at 9:00 but my Sunday mornings began at 7:00 a.m with the smiling face of my sweet baby boy!
